Kids Intermediate Sewing Workshop

This class is aimed at young peoplel aged 8 to 16 who've attended a beginner's sewing class and would like to progress and build on their sewing skills.

You must be able to confidently thread up a sewing machine and have made simple projects such as a cushion cover.

During this workshop, you will make a gorgeous make-up or wash bag that is lined and has a zipper to close.

The beginner's sewing class, you will have mastered how to set up a sewing machine – winding the bobbin, threading machine and controlling the speed and direction of sewing – then making a cushion cover!

Taking this to the next level you can easily progress onto fitting a zip, lining and precision in cutting and sewing a smaller item - i.e. the washbag.

After this class, you'll be ready to join our dressmaking class and start making your own clothes!
